Transition to Real Robots!

This week we are going to start the process to building real robots! With the approval of our coach and administrators, I was allowed into the lab to gather all the parts we would need. It was really strange being in the lab for the first time in 6+ months (and also really clean!).I brought the parts to my house where they reside in my living room. Meanwhile all team members made lists of what they would need including spacers, sprockets, shafts, c-channels, etc. I was able to make kits of all the parts that each person would need. I also made a list of parts that I included, which I sent with each kit just so everyone knew what they got. I plan to have people come out and collect boxes of parts soon. We are all really excited to transition to real parts again. We hope that this gives your teams some inspiration for how to function in these strange times.
